Book Now For The Holidays

One of the most often asked questions when folks are talking with us about taking a trip over the holidays is, “when is the best time to make a reservation?”.  My normal response is “right now”!!!  If you are thinking right now about holiday travel over Christmas or New Year, you are ahead of about 80% of the folks who will be asking that question in a couple of months. 

One of the tour operators that we sell the most, Funjet Vacations, already has negotiated some holiday rates with some hoteliers in Mexico and the Caribbean, and right now they have some very good packages.  For example, the Beach Palace, all-inclusive property in Cancun has a package that for 5 nights you get two complimentary tickets to “Broadway on Ice—A Special Holiday Celebration” with Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano and Broadway star Franc D’Ambrosio.  Also, you get a $500 resort credit.  Booking dates are Aug. 8-21 for a trip between Dec. 22 and Jan 4.

A 5-star all-inclusive property in Puerto Vallarta, the Iberostar Playa Mita, is offering a 35% discount for the holidays.  Again, that is valid for bookings until August 21, 2014.

The all-inclusive property Excellence in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic is also offering a 30% discount along with special holiday dinners, shows, and events.  Even the Royal Suites Turquesa in DR is participating at a 15% discount.

One of the best discounts being offered is for the Riu Guanacaste Resort in Costa Rica.  It is a 4 ½ star property, and they are offering a discount of 60% off of their normal rate for this holiday time.  They tout their property as a very family friendly resort, and have planned some special holiday entertainment.

Special menus and holiday activities are planned for Christmas and New Years at the El Cozumeleno Beach Resort, an all-inclusive property on the beautiful island of Cozumel.  Just a little over a 2 hour flight from DFW. 

The above promotions as mentioned are offered on a limited basis and for a specific time.  You can be sure that that will not be offering these discounts in October and November, plus, all the good air schedules will be already reserved by then.
