Thanksgiving turns to Christmas, which means we need to begin thinking what kind of Christmas present we can give....or get!!! It's been true ever since I've been in the business, and that's a long time, that one of the best, if not the best present, is a life-long memory. And one of the best memories is wrapped around a travel product; a trip to Disney, a ski trip, an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, a Hawaiian vacation, a cruise experience......even a drive in the car for a week at Grandmas.
This time of the year is among the best times to begin planning that vacation; October and November is even better, but better late than never. Inventories for summer vacations on airlines as well as cruise ships and resorts are typically wide open, and the earlier your plans can crystallize the greater your anticipation; after all, anticipating is a large percentage of the enjoyment of vacations.

The Holy Land—next year's trip on March 3-12 has been sold out since last summer....but we have been able to secure some space on the same itinerary for March 11-20, 2021. Viking's Elegant Elbe—this land and river cruise will take place on June 19-29, 2020. We fly to Prague and spend two nights at a 5-star hotel, get transferred down to a port on the Elbe River and cruise for 5 nights, stopping for a shore excursion in every port that is included in the price, then bused up to Berlin where we spend another 2 nights at a 5-star hotel in that famous German city. The ship is smaller than most river ships (only 98 passengers), but the food and entertainment continue to be in the excellent Viking tradition. Since there are so few rooms, it is important to get reservations as quickly as possible, so consider joining the other folks with The Travel Factory Gang who have already paid..
Princess European Odyssey—a 14-night Mediterranean cruise beginning at Rome and ending in Barcelona on Princess latest, brand-new ship, the Enchanted Princess. The trip begins on Aug. 22-Sept 5, 2020. The itinerary will include all the Greek islands such as Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Corfu, Sicily, as well as the ports of Naples, Montenegro, and Athens. This will be the ship's fourth cruise since being built, so it will be a very popular, high-demand cruise experience. Already there are 30 Travel Factory Gang deposited and getting energized with anticipation.
Viking's British Isle Explorer—another 14-night cruise on what will be Viking's newest ocean liner, the Viking Venus. The trip dates are August 9-23, 2021......what seems to be a long way off, and it is, but the ship is new and the itinerary is the most popular Viking itinerary in Europe. The itinerary begins in London and ends in Bergen, Norway. In between are ports in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Scotland. And as are all Viking cruises, they include one shore excursion in each port. Already 28 Travel Factory Gang members have committed with a deposit on this highly-anticipated cruise experience.
